Photos of Butterflies painted on faces for uv face painting & butterfly face painting. Click the photos to see the full size photos of the face paintings. Some of the photos show butterflies in uv paints with the uv lights on while other photos show the same face painting of butterflies with the house lights on and no uv. This is to show the difference it makes in the photos with using backlights for the photography as well as sunlight for the dayglow photography. Blacklight photography is never easy so as you may notice some of the photographs or pictures are at times a little blurry.

Below shows the face painting of the butterfly in blacklight only with no flash used when the photos taken. The house lights are out and the black lights the only source of lighting for this photograph. Enlarge the photograph of the butterfly face painting by clicking on the photo below.

The butterfly face painting below is a photograph taken with the blacklight on and the cameras flash used to give extra lighting to show the butterfly painting better. As you see the face painting is glowing well with the uv yet when the flash is used you can see the detail of the face painting unlike in the photo with just the uv lighting.
